cPanel/WHM Price increase!
With hardware updates and increase of performance cPanel Ιnc, most probably want’s to drive the way each business runs in this industry, why? Because they simply can.
it’s so obvious if you read their announcement that it takes only a few seconds to realize that all they want is to increase the revenue against all of us. Here at GOZEN HOST we provide cPanel at a very competitive price (lower than cPanel retail) because we buy in bulk and we, up to today, were able to keep our business error free.
With the new price model we are afraid that this will hurt mostly small clients, but hold on! This won’t have to be a stopping point! Our sys admins are for quite sometime now under a tight schedule and soon enough we will release new products that don’t rely on cPanel/WHM and we will offer them under support mode (if you chose to have managed server/vps) or self managed but it will be quite easy to do the migration that it won’t bother most of you out there!
So what actually is changing?
Are any existing packages changing?
Effective Thursday, June 27, 2019, we will no longer offer yearly or multi-year cPanel licenses. What happens to my existing one-year, two-year, and three-year year licenses?
Your existing one-year, two-year, or three-year license will remain active for the remainder of their term.
Until we are able to clarify what needs to be done we will let you read cPanel price list
Also for you who are interested, you may find all info in cPanel announcement
The conclusion so far is that VPS licenses are going up!
The tiers have now been renamed to Admin, Pro and Premier (at $20, $30 and $45/month respectively) but – and this is what has really enraged customers -an account limit has been applied. The top level, Premier, is limited to 100 accounts. Additional accounts will require an extra $0.20/month each.
